The Hubbard Fire District Board of Directors is seeking a qualified and interested community member to fill a single vacant board position. The vacant board position is Director #3 and has a four-year term ending in June 2027. To qualify interested members must live or own property within the Hubbard Fire District and be registered to vote with Marion County. The Board of Directors provides oversight to the Fire Chief and controls major financial transactions conducted by the district. The Board of Directors meets the second Wednesday of each month and additional meetings will be scheduled on an as need basis.
Community members interested must submit a letter outlining their interest, qualifications, experience, and other relevant information to the Fire Chief, Michael Kahrmann, by mail or email no later than August 3rd, 2023.
Interested community members will also be asked to attend the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors taking place at 6:30 PM on August 9th, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Hubbard Fire Station.
